Oliwer is getting better each day he takes his antibiotics. Last night he was going to the litter box every hour or more. After his second dose this morning he used the litter box five times today with zero blood in his urine. He had his third dose at 7 pm and didn't fight us much. He's very happy and content right now. I had him since I was 14 (I'm 29 now) when he was a year old so this cat has been by my side for 15 years. He'll always be my baby.

Lost one of the best guys I've ever known this week... He was TM3 SS Mark Reddington. He showed up to the boat a couple months after I did. He was a tough little dude and had an infectious, happy spirit. I have days worth of hilarious stories with Mark!
Unfortunately, he had a 3 wheeler accident right before leaving for the Mediterranean in 98, broke his neck and became a Quadriplegic. It didn't stop him from living life to the fullest, though! I never could've kept up a good attitude the way he did for the past almost 30 years.
I took this picture of Mark and his first piece of tail from when we hit South America. We are in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela. Unfortunately, he didn't understand the exchange rate. He couldn't figure out why she slapped him when he handed her $4500 Bolivar. Hell, he didn't even realize she was asking for money until someone explained to him what she was saying! LOL

The whole friend group has our "reunions" with him in mind. Usually at his place so we can spend time with him where he was comfortable.

My cat Oliwer is doing much much better. Bleeding is very minimal now and he's back to being his obnoxious self. Had his second dose of antibiotics at 6 am and he spewed some of it on the DSP. Seems like it's just a really bad UTI which is much much better than cancer. Hoping he continues to get better.

I got a call from my dad that my cat was peeing out a lot of blood and we took him to the vet. They couldn't rule out UTI or cancer so the vet gave us an antibiotic and gabapentin to treat UTI. We have to give them a urine sample after two weeks and if he doesn't get better by two weeks or gets worse then we may have to put him down. I may have had him for over 15 years but I'm still really sad. 😔

Day 9 and Nancy is laying on her back letting little Happy lick her snatch. They are playing tug on the couch with a ball. I couldnt be happier. Its an Australian thing Don, we are quite keen.

My patented dog introduction method: Let your existing dog find the new dog. In this case I left him in the street and she found him, your problem Nancy not mine. Then the next day or so, you walk around and try and palm it off, leave it a few times so it follows you. Then your old dog doesnt get the shits with you like it would if you just dumped a new dog on the couch. Its more like oh well better get used to it.

Nothing bad so far, seems well adjusted. Happy as Larry, Vet comes next week to check him out.
