Eau De PARFUM - Is about 15 to 20% the oil itself.Strong.Will last for most of the day. Eau De TOILETTE - Is about 5 to 15% the oil.Smooth.Not overbearing.Will last a few hours. Another weekend is here. Mom has been working like a dog for the last six weeks. This weekend she's having a girls' get-together to unwind and drink. She asked our good neighbor Hef if he wouldn't mind watching us for the weekend. Hef, of course, said yes. When we got to Hef's, we told him we'd been learning about the lost city of Atlantis and all her treasures. Most say such a place doesn't exist. We told Hef, Atlantis is a legendary island first described by the Greek philosopher Plato around 360 B.C. According to his philosophical allegory, it was a vast, technologically advanced naval empire that sank into the ocean in a single day and night following catastrophic earthquakes and floods. The concept of the lost city has captured human imagination for millennia, spawning countless theories, pop-culture adaptations, and centuries of exploration. This piqued Hef's interest. He said he'd like to find out if such a place really existed and what treasures it would bear. We told Hef that we would be able to answer all those questions for him, and asked him if he would like to see for himself if the myth was true. Hef immediately agreed and accepted our invitation. So you guessed it, folks, the DeLorean rides again. Our destination: the Greek island of Santorini, the year 1600 BC. The advanced sensor array of the DeLorean made it very easy for us to find the lost city of Atlantis. The treasures were there, and ours for the taking. We had plans for the spoils, but Hef had other plans. He said he'd be claiming this score for himself, and that it would be in our best interest if we didn't protest. When we returned home, Hef spoke of the value of the lessons learned today. He told us lesson number one: never bloody your own hands. Hef said, "When that day comes, you'll have learned lesson number three." This is when it hit us, we realized Hef was looking out for us. Preparing us to face and overcome any obstacle that may come our way. He told us to take the rest of the night to let that sink in. He said he would speak to us about it more tomorrow. Then he left to pick Bob up to go to the strip club. Some hard lessons learned, but a world of knowledge gained. Only a Marine thinks and operates on that level. I have a "name" story. Back in 78, I had just completed SAR school and reported to my Fleet Replacement Squadron for my replacement aircrewmen course. I was early and had to wait for my class to start, so they put me on the quarter deck and tasked me with greeting visitors and answering the phone.
I hadn't been in the Navy for a year yet, a lowly Airman Apprentice (E2). How hard could it be?
I received a call. Guy was looking for Petty Officer Hefflefinger. I thought I was being punked as I'd received a few of these calls looking for this guy. Basically told the guy to "F" off.
